DOBA - Case Study
As one of the leading product sourcing providers online, Doba's exclusive web-based platform empowers merchants to research and find products to sell online. Doba members gain instant access to dozens of suppliers and more than 250,000 products at wholesale prices, many of which can be drop shipped directly to customers. The process is fast and simple for both new and experienced online retailers.
Doba is continually looking for ways to help their 40,000 members find new products to sell and expand their online presence. ProStores provides a way for Doba members to quickly expand their online presence through a ProStores web store. With the release of Doba's "Push to Marketplace" tool, ProStores merchants can now populate a ProStores web store with any of the 250,000 products available to Doba members with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Interrapptive - Case Study
Interapptive ShipWorks is a desktop software application that integrates with popular online shopping systems, and provides merchants with the ability to download, process, and ship their orders. With built-in support for FedEx, USPS, and UPS, ShipWorks prints live shipping labels, eliminating the need to cut/paste, re-key, or export data into other applications. ShipWorks can save sellers several hours per day in work, and has played an important role in the growth of many online businesses.
With an increasing demand for ProStores support in ShipWorks, Interapptive looked to the team at ProStores for integration options. The ProStores Developer Network offered Interapptive a direct approach to integration via the ProStores XTE interface which allows for communication with the ProStores system via XML requests over HTTP.
The primary requirement for ShipWorks integration is the ability to download a merchant's orders from their online shopping system. For its integration with ProStores, ShipWorks uses the InvoiceQuery option in the ProStores XTE to download orders. ShipWorks chooses which fields to download using the "Select" element, and limits the download to the appropriate range of "LastModifiedDate" by using the "Where" element. Downloaded data is automatically imported into the ShipWorks database for each order. Once the download is complete the user can begin working with the orders in ShipWorks.
