What’s New in ProStores 9.3

We've just released our latest version of ProStores (version 9.3), which will include several enhancements designed to create products from eBay listings, easily build and customize themes and improve store conversion.

You can now build your own theme and do simple customization for themes under the Build Your Own or Contemporary categories. Customize colors, add store logo and reputation builders such as payment and safety/security logos and Javascript.

Improved Catalog Creation from eBay Listings

When creating products in ProStores through eBay Sync or when building product catalogs using eBay listings, a lot of eBay-centric information is also imported. ProStores will now automatically remove all Javascript and Flash code and merchants can choose to remove any CSS markup, leaving more of the product information pertinent only to ProStores available for use in your product detail pages.

Also, eBay listings using the free calculated shipping option will maintain free shipping when imported into ProStores via eBay Sync. Products in ProStores may also be configured with free calculated shipping, mirroring the shipping options of your eBay listings!

Improved Catalog Display

Build Your Own and Contemporary themes will now support features designed to enhance the shopper experience. Shoppers will experience faster page load times and easier navigation of categories making it easier for merchants to make a sale. The left navigation menu on all storefronts using these themes will now display up to 25 top level categories (which can be expanded and collapsed) plus a “More Categories” link. A new “All Categories” page will display top level categories and up to 4 subcategories plus a “More” link and search results per page will be limited to 100 products.

Conversion Rate Help Center

Merchants can now access the Conversion Rate Help Center, which offers tips and impact levels for improving store conversion rates.

New Features in ProStores 9.2.1

We've just released our latest version of ProStores (version 9.2.1), which will include several enhancements designed to improve store conversion. For eBay Sellers, we’ve also made improvements to the QuickStart feature, where sellers can import their eBay listings into ProStores and have their web store open in minutes.

In addition to features in the 9.2.1 release, ProStores merchants can now sign up for Power Reviews Express, a customer review solution used by some of the biggest retailers to collect and display reviews written by customers.

Updated Product List Layouts

Product list layouts will include clearer "Added to Cart" messaging and a layout option that eliminates duplicate product listings when assigned to multiple categories.

New! Product Detail Layouts

Cleaner product detail displays where only the most critical information is clearly displayed upfront, including product image, price and attributes, and a more prominent Add To Cart button.

Improved "No Search Results Page"

Your shoppers will be directed to other Featured Products and an improved Advanced Search Box, to encourage them to continue shopping even after landing on a "no search results" page.

New Cart Design

Clearer path to checkout, with improved "Proceed to Checkout" and "Continue Shopping" buttons, product images and better cart upsell.

Enhanced One Page Checkout

Checkout options are more clearly displayed, giving buyers the option to checkout at PayPal, checkout anonymously or checkout after registering their information.

Customer and Shipping Recipient Information

On the Ready for Shipping page in the Order Manager, we now show both customer information and recipient information. You will no longer see only billing information on this page.

Improved eBay QuickStart

For new ProStores merchants, all eBay listings will be imported up to the product tier limit (we are removing the 250 product limit cap). Your store is open while all of your fixed-price listings (SIF and BIN) are imported in the background. They appear on your storefront as they are imported.

New! PowerReviews Express

ProStores merchants can now take advantage of the same customer review solution used by some of the biggest retailers to collect and display reviews written by customers. Increase your sales by adding customer reviews to your web store. Learn more
